Senior Merchandiser Overview
This homewares retailer are looking for a Senior Merchandiser to work across various of their products ranges. The Senior Merchandiser will work closely with the Head of Department to maintain smooth operation, plan ranges and manage budgets.
Senior Merchandiser Responsibilities
- Forecast forward sales and intake requirements
- Managing WSSI
- Review historical sales figures and record lessons learned
- Manage the intake of stock and ensure targets are hit
- Liaise with the factories and the Product team to ensure shipment dates are met
- Make suggestions for range refresh
- Raise any issues to the Head of Merchandising when necessary, making suggestions on how to rectify
- Manage own stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure
- Collate sales and stock availability
Senior Merchandiser Skills and Experience
- Impeccable Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent forecasting skills
- An inquisitive, analytical mindset and great attention to detail
- Able to work cooperatively with other departments
