Merchandiser Overview

If you’re looking for a Merchandising role in the North West and looking for an interesting job change, we have a new role through that might be for you. Our client is a manufacturer of homewares, and is looking for a Merchandiser to work with their various renowned customers, managing the stock levels and forecasting sales for them.

Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Plan and control stock levels, to meet the stock requirements of the business, whilst maximising sales
  • Analyse sales performance against estimates and suggest corrective action where required
  • Liaise with supplier to resolve issues
  • Support with critical path management
  • Ensure intake is managed in line with stock targets
  • Issue resolution with internal stakeholders in sales, design and warehouse
  • Build relationships and liaise regularly with external merchandisers to keep assumptions up to date

Merchandiser Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated, proactive and confident
  • Ability to organise and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Enthusiastic team player
