Marketplace Business Development Manager Overview

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Marketplace Business Development Manager to join a hugely successful online retailer.

The Marketplace Business Development Manager will be crucial in driving the growth of the Marketplace, and in identifying areas of opportunity and growth.

Marketplace Business Development Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at marketplace growth
  • Conduct extensive market research and identify market trends and opportunities
  • Attend regular trade fairs and Marketplace Seminars
  • Communicate effectively with marketing, product and operations teams to ensure the implementation of strategies
  • Build and maintain new and existing relationships with stake holders and partners
  • Set KPI’s and manage and mentor more junior members of the team to ensure they are meeting their KPI’s
  • Work with the Onboarding and Account Management team to successfully transition sellers from signed to full launch.

Additional Information

The Marketplace Business Development Manager must have previous experience in a similar role with an excellent understanding of the marketplace landscape and the ability to negotiate exceptionally well.

This is a hybrid working role, with 3 days in the office required and 2 days working from home.
