Knitted Accessories Designer Overview

A leading Accessories company are looking for a Knitted Accessories Designer to join their dynamic team.

The Knitted Accessories designer will be working on soft accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves, and some woven bags.

Applicants for the Knitted Accessories Designer must have some previous experience in a similar role, and have ideally, dealt with UK high street customer accounts.

Knitted Accessories Designer Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend customer meetings, work to set briefs and present finished ranges
  • Carry out regular trend and market research, create trend reports and attend inspiration shopping trips
  • Liaise with and visit factories overseas
  • Sourcing fabrics and trims
  • Designing and developing commercial ranges

Additional Information

Excellent communication, presentation and CAD skills are all essential and an understanding of Shima would be highly beneficial.

Previous experience in designing accessories, knitwear is beneficial.
