Key Account Manager Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Management to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working and selling into the UK and EU markets.
Key Account Manager Responsibilities
- Effectively manage pre-existing accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring licensors are contacted and visited regularly.
- Consistently monitoring account performance.
- Develop and drive competent strategic account plans in order to hit KPIs.
- Create relationships (both internal & external) across all departments including sales, marketing, VM, CS, operations, finance and product.
- Ensure business agreements are in place with all key accounts taking into consideration targeted revenue, T&C’s, returns & cancellations, markdowns, marketing investments etc.
- Pursue initial firm orders, provide accurate forecasts for the forthcoming season and communicate details to the Planning department and where appropriate Merchandising.
- Working closely with the senior team to provide feedback on account performance
- Keeping up to date with competitor activity and product development
Key Account Manager Skills
- Previous experience working with licensors is desirable
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
