Fashion Buyer Overview

There is a very exciting opportunity for a Fashion Buyer to join a highly successful Buying Department within a well-known retailer.

Fashion Buyer Responsibilities

  • Developing ranges, ensuring that these are fitting with the brands values.
  • Liaising with factories overseas, negotiating cost prices and managing delivery schedules. This will also include managing the critical path
  • Carry out trend and market research and create mood boards and trend packs
  • Work with the merchandise team to identify areas for improvement within the range
  • Attend comp and inspiration shopping trips

Additional Information

The Fashion Buyer must have some previous experience in a similar role and be highly organised and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
