Senior Accessories Designer Overview
A leading Senior Accessories company are looking for an Accessories Designer to join their dynamic team.
The Senior Accessories designer will be working on soft accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves, knitted accessories and bags, with UK High Street customers.
Applicants for the Senior Accessories Designer must be trend aware with a good commercial eye.
Senior Accessories Designer Responsibilities
- Attending customer meetings and building and maintain customer relationships
- Keeping up to date with, and constantly carrying out trend and market research, and attending inspiration trips
- Attending overseas development trips and working closely with factories and suppliers
- Sourcing fabrics and trims
- Designing and developing commercial products, in line with customer briefs
Previous experience in designing accessories, knitwear or woven products is beneficial, but not essential.
Additional Information
Excellent communication, presentation and CAD skills are all essential and an understanding of Shima would be highly beneficial.
The Senior Accessories Designer must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and be able to hit the ground running.
